I always welcome images of old Orange County. Thanks.
I'm not aware of any midway games on the pier. I'd guess this is actually on the other side of the Balboa Peninsula from the pier, at the recently-defunct Fun Zone.
Those squirt guns look like the sort of prize you might have won for playing ski-ball or something.
